Corporate volunteers
making a difference in California communities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Pass It Forward (pifCalifornia). Many local businesses are now seeing the benefits of bringing employees outside of the work place, and into the volunteer space. Whether this is your first company volunteer event, or you’re seasoned pros, Pass It Forward always creates a green, educational and engaging experience. We’re in the business of creating healthy environments, and would love to work with you.
Studies have shown that employees prefer to work for companies invested in local causes, and volunteering is a terrific way to support that need at a relatively low cost to you. It is especially important to our Youth, born approximately 1980-2000, which is the second largest outside of the Baby Boomers and is now searching for green opportunities in today's workforce.

Pass It Forward
We believe it is valuable to invest time with your employees in meaningful work that will not only have an impact on them, but on the people they help in their local communities for years to come.
There are a few ways for businesses to partner with Pass It Forward through volunteering:
Do our employees need prior construction experience to participate?
No, just come as you are. We have jobs and tasks for all skill levels and abilities including Hemp/Lime mixing, tapering, running materials and touch-ups. In addition to Hemp/Lime projects, you may choose to volunteer at a workforce training location in your area, which are our recruitment centers.
Will we get to meet the community members we sponsor for the Hemp/Lime Workforce Training Program?
In short, YES! We encourage all program sponsors to attended graduation ceremonies and feel free to check in on the progress of all program graduates. The future is bright with green requirements to fulfill on each California based construction project, ensuring a greener, healthier California. It is possible you will have the opportunity to work alongside program participants and other volunteers in community projects.
